Meeting with president of Kosovo Artifete Jahjaga.

Eduard Kukan welcomed president Jahjaga in the Parliament and stressed the importance of her timely visit in Brussels. Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the last week's dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo.

Concerning the dialogue Mr. Kukan said: "This is an important process, not only for Kosovo and Serbia, but for the whole region.  I hope that both parties will show a good will in implementing the outcomes of the agreements". 

Eduard Kukan condemned the violence in the North of Kosovo following the decision of Kosovo government on reciprocity measures concerning imports from Serbia. He pointed out that the restored calm and security on the border must be sustained in order to achieve further progress in relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
